Meet Darren Chant

A local surveyor
like no other

I am Darren Chant, an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (AssocRICS) and a RICS Registered Valuer (VRS), with a deep-rooted passion for the property industry. With over two decades of experience, I offer a blend of professionalism, integrity and an understanding that ensures you are in capable hands.

My diverse experience in estate agency, lettings, residential and commercial property management and consultancy has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and stresses of buying and selling. It was through this journey that I discovered my true passion for surveying.

I have spent numerous years working for some of the largest corporate surveying firms in the country, conducting a range of RICS Red Book valuations and survey reports.

With the wealth of experience I have gained, Chant Surveys was established to challenge the traditional role of surveying with the aim of providing a unique personal service to each individual client’s needs.

Chant Surveys is based in the vibrant City of Chelmsford, but our
services extend beyond this, in areas that we are familiar with and have
